Here are a few highlights of our weekend in San Fransisco..
Farming the kids and mother-in-law out. Second time in 18 years.
Tickets to the show Wicked. They sent us better tickets that we ordered so we had great seats.
Walking and enjoying the wharf.
Sharing a teriyaki burger and Pizza at Wipe Out(grubbing).
Did I mention, no kids?
Checking out the shops on Pier 39.
Hotel messed up on our room so they upgraded us to a suite.
Took a picnic to Golden Gate Park and walked around.
Went to Headlands and walked to the tunnel to get to the lighthouse(it was closed but still a beautiful scenery).
Headed to the old military bunkers and scared the daylight out of some guy(that was one of my favorite memories). I have never seen someone freak that bad. It was great.
Did I mention, no kids to put to bed, tell them not to fight, go find something to do.
Went to the Winchester Mystery House.
It wasn't a long enough vacation but we had a fabulous time. We both agreed that we enjoyed it more than our honeymoon. Maybe it was, or maybe the honeymoon was so long ago we cant remember it.
All good things must come to an end but we wont wait so long for our next outing. Anyone interested in taking the kids next weekend? Just kidding.
